My journey into crochet began at the age of 50, a time when I realised that I needed a fulfilling hobby to balance my busy life.
I was intrigued by the idea of creating something beautiful with my hands, and I was drawn to the versatility and accessibility of crochet.
I was inspired by my mom and aunt
They are seasoned crocheters themselves so I embarked on a journey of exploration, captivated by the endless possibilities that yarn and a hook could offer.
Like any new endeavour, my crochet journey had its share of challenges. From struggling to keep my tension consistent to mastering the art of straight edges, I felt some frustrations with my crochet along the way.
However, the mesmerizing rhythm of crochet and the satisfaction of seeing my creations come to life kept me motivated.
One of my greatest joys came from witnessing my daughters snuggle up with the blankets I lovingly crafted, as well as the heartwarming moment of gifting a handmade blanket to a friend for her newborn baby.
